The appearance of hate is all around
Dehumanise is the norm
Repeating the past the other way around
A savage painful storm
Trapped by both sides there’s no escape
For the people left in fear
Religious beliefs can’t justify
Any war let this be clear
Evil souls take advantage of all
Then say it’s correct to defend
Addressing civilians say “it’s your call”
Makes one think this was all planned
Who wins or looses in the end
Kill the neighbour once your friend
Then say it was heaven sent
When you’re born either side of the gate
Determines how you live
Killing for belief and say it’s fate
This view has got to give
What I mean is can a god be so rude
To exterminate life this plain
Cut of people from water and food
And let them die in pain
Human animals that’s what you say
Same they said a previous war
How can people get led astray
Use the hurting of your past
To leave that land completely thrashed
You make the wrong people pay
I’ll never understand one can act this way
